Pole Caps have been designed to fit on all timber poles where they serve a purpose of protecting the timber from any water or liquid getting into it which would then cause it to erode slowly. It’s also used to help with any insects getting in and causing it to erode as well. The pole caps do come in a variety of different sizes. Pole caps are not mandatory unless specifically requested by a customer.
